Was at UC Davis having a farm animal tended to and had some time to wait so walked about 5 minutes to this little student operated cafe. I had little to no expectations as I have seen these places run the whole gambit, so went with the spicey chicken sandwich and the 1/2 pound hamburger. It took about 10-12 minutes for the orders to come up and ran about $13 per meal. My wife and I were both pleasantly surprised with how tasty the food was and they both came loaded with fries. I could see myself eating here if I was a student or worked here and they offered about 5-6 different menu items to choose from which rotates weekly. Nice and convenient cafe that saves you the hassle of driving to downtown davis.
Wonderful place to eat with many delicious selections!!! From Pizza to Sushi!!!!!! They all look pleasing to the eye!!!! I will definitely be back!!!!

If you are at UC Davis Small Animal veterinary hospital, this cafe is right across the street from the doctors. Nice, clean, fast. Prices were a bit on the high side, but it is really the convenience of being "right" there when you are waiting (impatiently) for test results of your pet.
I came here last week for lunch with some coworkers. I've never been to the old Scrubs Cafe, but this one is nice and modern. Lots of windows and natural light - great for studying or relaxing. CON: The ordering process was a little confusing; it's not clear which line to stand in or where to pick up your food. PRO: I got the Scrubs Burger and it was pretty tasty. I think a few coworkers were jealous. ;) It cost about $9, which is a fair price for the size. Everyone else's dishes looked good too, so I'd definitely come back to try the other items.
